Delete your account
You can delete your CutShit account and its associated data at any time. Here's how, and exactly what's removed.
Option 1 — In the app
- Open CutShit and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately and removed within 30 days.
Option 2 — By email
Email support@cutshit.net from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify it's you and confirm once it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials.
- Your profile (name, email, photo) and saved app settings.
- Your license record and render-credit balance.
- Any account metadata we store (e.g. last-sign-in, device records).
Your video footage and projects live on your own machine — CutShit never uploads them, so there's nothing on our servers to delete there.
Timeline & retention
Deletion completes within 30 days, with a 7-day internal backup window before backups are purged. We may retain a minimal record of a completed purchase where required for tax, accounting, or legal obligations — this contains no usable account access. See our Privacy Policy for details.
